Similac Total Comfort Gold Stage 2 is a gentle follow-on formula specially developed for babies aged six to twelve months with sensitive tummies or difficulty tolerating some standard cow’s milk-based formulas.

Its easy-to-digest formulation contains 100% partially hydrolysed whey protein. The protein is broken down into smaller components to support comfortable digestion and improve tolerance in babies with delicate digestive systems.

The formula is 98% lactose-free and may be suitable for babies experiencing mild feeding discomfort associated with lactose sensitivity when recommended by a healthcare professional. It is low in lactose but is not completely lactose-free.

Similac Total Comfort Gold Stage 2 contains 2′-FL, FOS prebiotics and nucleotides to support beneficial intestinal bacteria and the baby’s developing immune system. Its Eye-Q nutritional system provides DHA, AA, lutein, taurine, choline and iron to support normal brain, cognitive and visual development.

The formula is made with a vegetable-oil blend containing high-oleic sunflower, soy and coconut oils, without palm olein oil. It is intended to complement age-appropriate solid foods during the second half of the baby’s first year.

Important Feeding Notice

Breastfeeding is best for babies and should be continued for as long as possible.

Similac Total Comfort Gold Stage 2 is suitable only for babies over six months of age. It must not be used as a substitute for breast milk during the first six months of life.

From six months, follow-on formula should be used as part of a varied diet that includes suitable complementary foods.

Consult a paediatrician or qualified healthcare professional before introducing or changing formula, especially if the baby has persistent digestive discomfort, feeding difficulties or a suspected food allergy.

How to Prepare

Always follow the preparation and feeding table printed on the supplied tin, as the scoop size and instructions may vary between markets.

1. Wash your hands thoroughly and clean the preparation surface.
2. Wash the feeding bottle, teat, cap and all preparation utensils.
3. Sterilise the feeding equipment according to the instructions on the product packaging.
4. Boil fresh drinking water and allow it to cool to the temperature specified on the tin.
5. Pour the required amount of water into the sterilised feeding bottle.
6. Use only the scoop supplied inside the tin.
7. Fill the scoop with powder and level it without pressing or packing the powder.
8. Add the exact number of level scoops stated in the feeding table. Where the supplied label specifies it, use one level scoop for every 60ml of water.
9. Close the bottle and shake until the powder has completely dissolved.
10. Check the temperature before feeding.

Never add extra powder, water, cereal, sugar or other ingredients. Incorrect preparation or dilution may make the baby unwell.

Feeding and Storage Instructions

Prepare each feed immediately before it is required whenever possible.

Once feeding begins, use the prepared formula within one hour and discard any amount remaining in the bottle.

Never refrigerate or reuse formula that has been in contact with the baby’s mouth.

Only store unused prepared formula in the refrigerator when permitted by the instructions printed on the supplied tin.

Do not heat prepared formula in a microwave, as uneven heating may create hot spots and cause burns.

Keep the powder tightly closed in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Do not refrigerate the powder.

Use the contents within the period stated on the product packaging after opening.

This formula is not suitable for babies with a diagnosed cow’s milk protein allergy or galactosaemia unless specifically recommended by a paediatrician.

Important Information

Low-lactose formula is not the same as lactose-free formula.

Powdered infant formula is not sterile. Follow all hygiene, preparation and storage instructions carefully.

Consult a healthcare professional if the baby experiences persistent vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, abdominal discomfort, rash, blood in the stool, poor feeding or inadequate weight gain.

Seek urgent medical attention if the baby develops facial or lip swelling, breathing difficulty, severe vomiting or another sign of a serious allergic reaction.

Do not use the product if the packaging or internal seal is open, missing or damaged.

Use before the expiry date printed on the packaging and keep out of the reach of children.
