Linex Adult is a probiotic and prebiotic supplement formulated to help restore and maintain the natural balance of beneficial bacteria in the digestive system.

Each capsule contains two carefully selected strains of live, freeze-dried lactic acid bacteria: Lactobacillus acidophilus LA-5 and Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis BB-12. These beneficial bacteria help support a balanced intestinal microbiota and normal digestive function.

The formula also contains the prebiotic fibres inulin and oligofructose, which provide nourishment for beneficial intestinal bacteria and help support their activity in the digestive tract.

Linex Adult may be particularly useful when the normal balance of intestinal bacteria has been disrupted by antibiotic treatment, illness, dietary changes, travel or stress. It may help reduce mild digestive discomfort such as diarrhoea, bloating, excess gas and abdominal cramping associated with an imbalance of intestinal flora.

How to Use

Adults and adolescents over 12 years should take one capsule one to three times daily, preferably during a meal, or as directed by a doctor or pharmacist.

Swallow the capsule with cool or room-temperature water.

When taking antibiotics, take Linex Adult at least three hours after the antibiotic dose to help protect the probiotic bacteria.

Do not take the capsule with hot drinks or alcohol, as heat and alcohol may affect the live bacterial cultures.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Important Information

Not intended for children under 12 years unless specifically recommended by a healthcare professional.

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a weakened immune system, have a serious underlying medical condition or are taking other medicines.

Probiotics do not replace fluid and electrolyte replacement during diarrhoea. Drink adequate fluids, particularly if diarrhoea is present.

Seek medical advice if diarrhoea lasts longer than two days or is accompanied by fever above 38°C, blood or mucus in the stool, severe abdominal pain, vomiting, dehydration or unexplained weight loss.

Discontinue use and seek medical advice if an allergic reaction or unusual symptoms occur.

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
