Fortymox  indicated for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis caused by susceptible strains of the following organisms: Gram-positive bacteria: e.g. Staphylococcus aureus; Staphylococcus epidermidis;  Staphylococcus hemolytic; Gram-negative bacteria: e.g. Haemophilus influenzae; Klebsiella pneumoniae, Moraxella catarrhalis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Other microorganisms: Chlamydia trachomatis.
